Notice of Transformation to STC Bank

Thanks to your great support and contribution to the acceleration of the digitalization journey in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, we are delighted and proud to announce that STC Bank (formerly known as Saudi Digital Payments Company), the owner and operator of the leading Saudi electronic wallet, is now evolving and transforming to become a digital bank. STC Bank has now transformed from an E-wallet account to a digital bank account.

Transformation journey

stc pay is transforming from being one of the first electronic wallets originating from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to becoming called STC Bank, one of the digital banks in the Kingdom. We still maintain the same corporate registration numbers and identity. We are now licensed by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) to carry out digital banking activities.

What is changing

As part of the transformation, the identity changed from stc pay to STC Bank, maintaining its objectives, vision, and mission to be the leading digital bank. Being a digital bank allows us to offer unique and broader products and services, accessible through our mobile app or other digital channels. Whereas your satisfaction is our priority, and providing a unique banking experience is our highest objective, we would like to inform you that your wallet—if you have one—will remain active for 10 days from the date you receive the text message notifying you of the transition. If you do not open a bank account, you will be informed of the options available to you, in light of any relevant regulations and instructions, via text message and digital channels.
